Ball words is the sight word program that we are using in the classroom! The children are challenged to learn 20 sight words at a time and pratice them through games, and exploring them during work station time. Praticing ball words at home will be extremely beneficial in the classroom. Once your student is confident with his/her current ball list he/she can test out of the list by reading the words fluently to me. If your student is able to read all 20 words fulenty (recognizing the word withing 3-5 seconds) he/she will move on to the next level word list.
